Together, we strive to produce values-based, impact-driven individuals and organizations. Each organization was founded on the values of scholarship, leadership, friendship, and service. Those councils are the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the Multicultural Greek Council, the College Panhellenic, and the Interfraternity Council. Today, our community is made up of 29 fraternities & sororities that include over 1100 students within our four governing councils. The Delta Kappa Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma followed in 1984 and the Florida Nu Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity followed in 1987. Florida International University's Greek community was founded in 1979 by the Elite Lambda Tau Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
